RESEARCH PROJECT | DISSERTATION
Journeying towards a participatory church. Church Development and Liturgy between tradition, inculturation and late modernity
In my dissertation I raise the question how liturgy can develop in expanding parishes. For this purpose, theoretical reflections and qualitative social research are combined in the sense of a “contrastive mixed discourse” (Christian Bauer). This is done in three fields: the historical genesis of the parish, intercultural learning, and the late modern context.
