At the beginning of the new academic year, students, postgraduates and postdoctoral researchers of the European Graduate School met in Salzburg (October 12 to 14, 2023). The joint working sessions served to reflect on the programme of the EGS so far. In particular, the content and structural orientation of the new academic year was discussed and planned. Furthermore, the group had an excursion programme to the city of Salzburg from different perspectives. Time was also scheduled to work in small groups on their own projects and plans.

Excursion Cologne: Transformations in Church, Arts and Society in History and Present
From October 6 to 9, 2022 the European Graduate School organized an excursion to Cologne. The aim of the excursion was not only to trace transformation processes exemplarily in the city and the archdiocese of Cologne, but also to enable the formation of a network of students and doctoral scholars from the locations Erfurt, Leuven and Salzburg. A total of about 20 doctoral students, postdocs and professors from the three faculties met.
Online Workshop of the European Graduate School on Transformation Processes on March 21st, 2022
The research group “European Graduate School: Theology in religious, cultural and political Processes of Transformation” met on March 21, 2022 in a virtual workspace for a study day. The cross-university project of the theological faculties of the University of Erfurt, the Paris Lodron University Salzburg and the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven deals with ecclesiastical and theological transformation processes in different facets.
